Pull up banner sizes explained

If you only read one line

The 850 is what most people mean by “a pull up banner”. Its visible graphic is 850×2170mm, it suits a standard trade stand or foyer, and almost every venue expects that footprint. Start there unless you have a reason not to.

Going smaller

The 580 BabyBug (580×1540mm) is for doorways, waiting rooms and anywhere an 850 would crowd the space. The 400 Desktop (400×600mm) sits on a counter and takes no floor at all — it is a DeskBug, a different piece of hardware to the rest of the range.

Going wider

The 1000, 1200 and 1500 are all the same height as the 850 and simply give you more width for the same floor depth. If your artwork feels cramped on an 850 but the space is fine, go wider rather than taller.

Going bigger

The Giant 1000 (1000×2850mm) is the tallest and reads over a crowd — check your venue’s height limit first, some halls cap stands at 2.4m. The 1800 Superwide (1800×2170mm) works as a backdrop wall rather than a sign.

Design to the graphic size, not the hardware

Every dimension above is the visible graphic — the part people see. The hardware is taller because the bottom of the print rolls into the cassette. Add 5mm bleed on every edge, keep logos and text 30mm in from the sides and top, and put nothing you need read in the bottom 100mm.
