Privacy policy
This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. It is written to meet the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Order details — your name, email, delivery address and what you ordered.
- Artwork — the files you upload for us to print.
- Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers are entered on Stripe’s systems and never reach our server. We only ever see the last four digits and whether the payment succeeded.
- Technical data — standard web server logs, and whatever your browser sends.
Why we collect it
To produce and deliver your order, to send you a proof and keep you updated, to handle warranty or reprint claims, and to meet our tax and record-keeping obligations.
Who else sees it
- Our print production team, who receive your artwork and the delivery address to make and send the job.
- Stripe, for payment processing.
- Our courier, who gets your name, address and contact for delivery.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Your artwork
Uploaded artwork is stored in a directory that is not publicly readable — it cannot be reached by guessing a URL, and files are only ever served to signed-in staff through an authenticated route. We keep artwork so you can reorder without re-sending files. Ask us and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are kept for at least seven years, as Australian tax law requires. Artwork is kept until you ask us to remove it.
Cookies
The store uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work — keeping your cart and your session. [CONFIRM: whether analytics will be added; this paragraph must change if so]
Overseas
Stripe and our hosting provider operate infrastructure outside Australia, so some data is stored or processed overseas.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us through the contact page and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to resolve it. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
